Amy Wilson, LICSW
Why BD SUMHAC?
"I joined this coalition because there are crucial issues related to accessing substance use and mental health treatment. Through my direct clinical work with patients, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges those with chronic health conditions are faced with when navigating care and the inequities our system has created; those with bleeding disorders face more discrimination when being screened for these services. I am passionate about helping patients gain access to necessary services to improve their health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life, as we all should have an equal chance to use the tools available to us.”
