Why BD SUMHAC?

“Although each chapter has unique challenges our greatest challenge begins with location. RMHBDA encompasses all of Montana and Wyoming and many of our chapter members travel great distances to receive adequate medical care and to attend chapter events. For many people in our chapter, mental health and substance abuse issues are personal and important. Not to mention the states we serve have a high rate of these health challenges. Our logistical challenges and large, yet not very populated states make advocacy work critical to the families and individuals we serve. We are honored and proud to serve on the BDSUMHAC coalition.”
