Bio

Katherine Bush, MSW, LCSW earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland. She has prior work experience as a case manager, outpatient therapist, residential treatment therapist, and behavior specialist.

Katherine joined the HTC in 2017 and has been enjoying getting to know the patients ever since. Katherine is one of the co-directors of Camp Hot-to-Clot, helps facilitate the center Consumer Advocacy Committee, and also coordinates a teen group together with the Western Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation.

Katherine believes that all people should have access to the care they need, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, social class, or medical diagnosis and feels honored to be a part of BDSUMHAC.
