Bio

Valencia Firmin is an outreach social worker at Hemophilia of Georgia joining the organization back in May of 2022. Valencia attended the University of Georgia from 1997 through 2003 obtaining her BSEd in Health Promotion and Wellness in 2001 and her Master of Social Work in 2003. In 2003, she also obtained her Georgia state license as a Licensed Master Social Worker. Her work history includes child welfare, foster care, mental health services, and home health, with the majority of her career, over 16 years, being spent as a nephrology social worker.  She enjoys football, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Preston, as well as family and friends.
