APPLICATIONS OPEN: 2025 State Advocacy Program

BD SUMHAC is now accepting applications for the 2025 State Advocacy Program!

This program supports state teams focused on improving access to behavioral health treatment facilities for the bleeding disorders community. NBDF chapters or HFA member organization/HTC partnerships from states that have identified a denial to a mental health or substance use disorder treatment facility are eligible and encouraged to apply. Selected teams will receive BD SUMHAC’s support in identifying champions within state regulatory agencies, assessing their state's regulatory landscape, and developing next steps for advocacy to improve access.
