Step 2: Contact the BD SUMHAC Advocates for Additional Resources and Support
BD SUMHAC has successfully assisted bleeding disorder (BD) treatment teams in advocating for their patients to get access to inpatient/residential behavioral health facilities. In addition to developing the resources in this toolkit, the coalition has developed contacts in specific states and at federal agencies who may be able to expedite the process of getting your patient access to treatment. Please contact the BD SUMHAC advocates at the national BD organizations for additional support:
